Argentus approached Pixels & Pencils to rebuild its visual identity from the ground up, including refining its brand positioning, updating its visuals, and redesigning the firm’s website. The goal was to reflect the way its recruitment practice has evolved, and showcase the values Argentus builds into its practice: boldness, professionalism, thought leadership, and tenacity.

A fresh take on recruitment

When developing our client’s modern new visual identity, we knew it had to be adaptable to a wide range of collateral and content. Its key visual elements – for example, the stylized A symbol – can now be integrated into a multitude of corollary designs, from job postings to social media posts and thought-leadership articles:

Differentiating via unique skill set

A talent recruitment agency specializing in staffing for positions in the supply chain and procurement areas, the site had to convey Argentus’ core focus and unique expertise in a single industry: Supply Chain and Procurement. It had to appeal to its target stakeholders – cleaner, more responsive, and easier to navigate – and reinforce its differentiators as specialists with deep knowledge.

Key website needs

Our client asked for an intuitive CMS allowing the site to be easily updated by its in-house team. The new site has powerful, automatic integration with their active social media channels (in particular for job postings). Once content was published to social media it would simultaneously populate onto the site, eliminating extra work.

With two distinct audiences (employers looking to hire and talent looking for positions) Argentus’ new site had to stream users into one of two paths, seamlessly and right from the home page. Great U/X enabled each group to find what they needed quickly.
